FIRST E&P Receives ‘Best Independent Petroleum Producer Award’ at 2023 Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES)

FIRST E&P was recognized with the ‘Best Independent Petroleum Producer 2022 Award’ at the Gala Dinner and Award Night of the Nigeria Independent Energy Summit (NIES2023) which held at the State House, Aso Villa, Abuja on Monday, 17th of April 2023.

According to the organizers, the award is bestowed on organizations that have cemented their reputation through technical contributions, service to colleagues, professional excellence, industry leadership, career achievement and public service. The award beneficiary is a company that sees beyond seeming impossibilities and creates innovative solutions that change lives, enhance communities and make the nation proud with excellence including fostering Nigerian content.

The award was presented by the Commission Chief Executive (CCE) of the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) Mr. Gbenga Komolafe and received on behalf of the company by Anita Edo-Osagie, DGM, Corporate Business & Relations, FIRST E&P.

She has received numerous awards for outstanding contribution to the digital landscape in Africa. Under her leadership, the Google team has made a significant impact on local content development, infrastructure deployment, and digital capacity building.

Juliet has degrees from the London Business School, University of Cambridge; and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She was awarded IT Personality of the Year in 2012 by the Nigeria Computer Society, Digital Personality of the year 2016 by Marketing World; and received a 2015 Titans of Technology award from TechnologyAfrica.

She is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and recently published 30 Days of
Excellence, a leadership and effectiveness guide.
