Highlights from FIRST E&P’S 2022 Vendor Workshop/Forum

On Thursday October 13th, the 3rd edition of FIRST E&P’s Annual Vendor Workshop/Forum held at Southern Sun Hotel, Lagos. With physical and virtual guests from over 45 companies in attendance, the event provided FIRST E&P and its valued Vendors with the opportunity to reinforce important messages on HSE, Governance, Sustainability and other core business processes.

Following a welcome address by FIRST E&P GM-Finance, Darlington Okougha, there were presentation sessions by FIRST E&P’s HSE/ESG, Project, Legal and Finance Teams. Other sessions at the workshop included presentations on Social Performance, Data Management and Supply Chain Management.

At the end of the highly interactive event, with feedback shared on driving process improvement, all participants came away with clearer insights on how to continue to work more efficiently together as success partners.

With over 25 years experience primarily in Technology, Oil & Gas, and New Media industries across Europe, Middle East and Africa; Juliet is a leading voice on Innovation, Transformation, and Leadership. She has received numerous awards for outstanding contribution to the digital landscape in Africa. Under her leadership, the Google team has made a significant impact on local content development, infrastructure deployment, and digital capacity building.

Juliet has degrees from the London Business School, University of Cambridge; and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She was awarded IT Personality of the Year in 2012 by the Nigeria Computer Society, Digital Personality of the year 2016 by Marketing World; and received a 2015 Titans of Technology award from TechnologyAfrica.

She is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and recently published 30 Days of
Excellence, a leadership and effectiveness guide.
